Advanced Acoustic Concepts, LLC Temporary Electronics Technician II in Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania

Position for up to 3 months. Position Summary : Provide technical and operational support to engineers and managers on complex components, devices, material, products, processes and equipment. Duties and Responsibilities: The Electronics Test Technician II is responsible for performing tasks as directed which includes the following but is not limited to these tasks: Responsible for functionally testing AAC's electronic products and mechanical assemblies to ensure conformance Complete testing in accordance with complex test plan and procedures and accurately record test results Coordinate with Quality Department for Quality Assurance inspections Assist in developing test plans and procedures for new subassembly and unit level functional tests Work from complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications and sketches and running sheets of significant complexity Able to read wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for systems or equipment modifications or expansion Perform some electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly and rework Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with State and Federal regulations and any applicable certification required to maintain the certification Position requires the ability to coordinate several activities at the same time and to reprioritize in response to changing operational conditions Perform Key Performance Indicators: Meet production deadlines Quality of finished product (Percent Defect Free) Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization Basic Qualifications: Associate Degree in an Engineering related discipline (Electronics, Engineering Technologies, etc.) or equivalent experience Must be able to obtain/maintain secret security clearance Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Technical knowledge of engineering documents including engineering drawings, parts lists, and bills of material Must demonstrate strong decision-making and leadership skills Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision and interface directly with customers Additional Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge: 2+ years of Experience with Electronics Testing and/or 5+ years of Experience with Electronics Assembly Defense industry electronics testing experience preferred Seeking previous Avionics Technicians Good manual skills and attention to detail Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude Good interpersonal communication skills Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 40 lbs. repetitively Walking, Bending, Standing, Stooping: up to 75% of time Climbing, Sitting: up to 25% of time Must be willing to travel up to 25% of time AAC works on a 9/80 compressed schedule, with employees working 80 hours in 2 weeks and every other Friday off.
