Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.

The Solution Development Center of Excellence organization is responsible for assisting the pre-sales team win new business by delivering assets that improve productivity and efficiency of the global pre-sales teams.
As an individual contributor and subject matter expert, to this team, you /will/ utilize your understanding of our product, marketplace, cross-organization relationships and customers to increase Sales, improve Customer Satisfaction and Retention, and drive the Solution Map of partner and product offerings. Continue leading our cross-functional Sales, Marketing and Partnership efforts, and advising our Product team.
/Support/ sales opportunities. Provide direct deal product demo /support/, HCM expertise and strategy in industry specific sales opportunities.
Provide marketing collateral content and /direction/. Assist marketing /to/ develop a comprehensive strategy, including Competitive analysis, Webinars, White Papers, Drip Content.
Develop sales enablement. Increase vertical product sales team knowledge through improving their understanding of HCM trends.
Improve customer satisfaction. Develop and execute a plan to improve customer satisfaction. /Work/ /with/ Training and Implementation teams /to/ develop and improve /on /current programs.
Drive Solution Map. Provide feedback /to/ drive SDN efforts around these verticals. Advise product management about product /direction/ /based/ /on/ deal killing missing functionality, customer requests, analyst suggestions, and competitive offerings.
/Work/ /closely/ /with/ customers and prospects. Focus on customer referencability as we launch new products in the HCM solution footprint
/BA/ / /BS/ / MBA or equivalent applicable /work/ experience
5-7 /years/ in a comparable pre-sales or professional consulting position supporting the sales or implementation of HCM product
Previous application experience in one or more of the following /desired/: SAP, Oracle Fusion/e-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Siebel, Salesforce./com/, Epicor, Infor, Sage People (Fairsail), Workday, Ceridian, ADP, FinancialForce./com/
Product knowledge /with/ enterprise applications software company /with/ the following modules:

Talent Management, including performance management and compensation management

Solid presentation and interpersonal skills
